You have been asked to manage a bay of patients with an experienced Health Care Assistant. She appears stressed and you hear her grumbling under her breath about the workload and on a number of occasions she is very abrupt with you in front of others, including patients. You, and other team members, are finding this upsetting. Additionally you note that, on several occasions, she does not complete the correct hand washing procedures.
